After Wordle's phenomenal success, a ton of brand-new word games have emerged, offering fresh takes on the classic formula. The 5-letter word puzzle game has been released in a variety of formats, some of which call for specialized knowledge of anything from music to television and movies. Some of them, like Lewdle, are a little unusual and ask players to guess a five- or six-letter swear word. Here, pretty much anything is fair game, and the guessing mechanisms are the same as those found in other well-liked guess-5 games.

Lewdle puzzles can occasionally be straightforward, with your first guess offering you a range of potential letters to work with. Other times, though, you'll be really stumped, especially given the variety of replies and slang words that are acceptable.
